Kunming and this whole area is famous for mushrooms. They are luscious and plentiful here at the market :)

Cool looking brown center for the white dough buns. Didn't taste as had just indulged in a donut but assuming they taste like the steamed buns. Filling heavy dough that is soft and springy and is somehow like a bread version of candy floss.

Amazing eggs. The black century eggs. Pidan. Blue duck egg pidan too. Pickled eggs. Apparently these are served at wedding banquets with the red bbq'd pork that we ate in hong kong :)

Kunming market. Huge. This is only a tiny part and as we were the only tourists didn't want to take loads of photos. As of course we would easily blend in without a camera :) Its like a crazy labyrinth. You could literally buy everything here from a horses tail with all the hair to every vegetable. You can choose your live fish they kill descale and fillet it for you. Fresh noodles ore made dumplings. Live chickens.
