Day 3 - disastrous start to the day when our expensive one day tour of Paris failed to pick us up! Turned out the agent hadn't told the tour company where to pick us up and we missed the first hour of the tour. After they picked us up we went to Notre Dame. Sunday mass was on so mum got her church service she wanted to go to. The girls were overwhelmed with the size of it. Hayley didn't like the gloominess! Then it was off to Sacre Coeur and Montmatre. Another Sunday mass there and we managed to sneak in an ice cream. Then it was to the Eiffel Tower for lunch. Our tour guide left us there with instructions for going up the tower and getting on the boat ride. We were a bit miffed as we had paid a lot for the tour and it hadn't started well...but worked out ok as we could take our time having lunch and looking around the tower and markets before getting on the boat cruise. Lunch was good - they brought all 3 courses out at once which was a bit strange. We had a great view as you will see. Photos and souvenirs then it was onto the boat cruise on the River Seine. Was a good way to see the sights. We've had quite a bit of rain so far but it is supposed to improve from now on. Were off to Champs Élysées and arc de triumph to catch up on what we missed tomorrow
