Day 11 - today was supposed to be our day relaxing on the beach - the Mediterranean! But it started pouring with rain and didn't really stop til 2ish. It has stayed grey and cool all day. We decided to have an enforced rest day which has been quite nice after 10 days of lots of walking and sight seeing!

The day consisted of walking into town for lunch then coming back and blobbing out in the hotel room and then walking back into town for dinner. There is an area in the middle of town where there were about 5 games of pétanque going on and lots of people sitting around watching. This place feels a lot more relaxed than other places we have been. The weather is meant to be better tomorrow so we will try again for the beach before we head to Avignon.

Funny dinner last night - mum made friends with a French man who poured her some of his wine and was offering her his pizza. Was funny watching his wife telling him off! We really have met some lovely French people and haven't found them difficult at all.
