FigJam's Gulf Adventure
We left Boodjamulla and returned to Gregory Downs and camped in the same spot we had earlier. Managed to avoid all cows etc and car feels no different even tho the bonnet is now tied down with wire!
Visited pub to have their Sunday roast. Unfortunately the cook had recently driven into a nearby creek and drowned their pet dog. Very sad but it also meant that our roast dinner took 3 hours to arrive amid much confusion and bloody-mindedness. Still it tasted good.
It's amazing how black the nights are and how brilliant are the stars.

CnR Lovely picture... Warm and safe enough for a swim?
Toby Hey Al I think we have been out of the loop lately. What's the story with the wired down bonnet? Have you had a run in with one of those big NT Bulls ? No one down here knows what's going on, details please Toby.
JG Hey Al, you didn't sound too sympathetic about the loss of the cooks dog. You sure he didn't end up the roast of the day you waited three hours for! Blue heel ears are pretty tough you know. I'm betting that your beat up 4wd won't be allowed back in Briiiighton. JG
JG Blue heelers obviously. Bloody auto-correct!
