13/8/15. Cobar, NSW 14/8/15. Hay, NSW 15/8/15. Home Home sweet home! Arrived home after 12 weeks of travel. Excellent adventure. Good company. What a great country we live in! From Currawinya, the aim was to get home ASAP! I did well but Steve did better!

On the road by 7.30am and straight into more traffic than I've seen for years. Target today was riverside camping near Hattah-Kulkyne NP. The Murray looks much healthier than last time I was in this area but the extended drought sure killed a lot of beautiful gum trees. Superb campsite with plenty of wood for the fire! So far, nothing major seems to have been left home or lost off the roof rack. Fingers crossed that this continues.

2 sleeps to go! Final preparations underway. Car has been serviced and rebooted. Packing is underway with fridge occupying centre stage in the kitchen - surely it won't get left behind again! Steve departed Melbourne today and we will meet up on Saturday at Menindee. Can't wait! Life is good.
