Finally spending time in a National Park! Have spent last two days walking - to lookouts, aboriginal art, Lawn Hill Creek nature walks and a lot of relaxing at Adels Grove. Leave tomorrow for another night at Gregory Downs and then on to Burketown. Expect little mobile reception over next week or so.

Easy drive to Adels Grove CP (10km from the NP) with most of the 90km sealed. However, shortly after the tar ended and the gravel began, I hit a steer (believed to be a Hereford) head-on. Made a mess of the bonnet and panelling but amazingly there doesn't seem to be any mechanical damage. Have jumped around on the hood, wired the bonnet closed and fingers crossed, the car is mobile.
