FARFRUMWURKEN
Everyone seems to be on the mend. It's getting to the point where I can tell people and their location by the sound of their cough. Lilli was the first to get it, followed by Keli and then Joe. At this point the other four of us have avoided any symptoms....so far.
Today's been a quiet one but a significant one. The grands finished their last day of school for the year today. We picked up Joram and his friend Justin from their high school and then headed for lunch at the local Mexican restaurant Chilango's in Woodbury, TN.
Yesterday we went to the local Wal-Mart to pickup some things for dinner and what do I see but a poster for Duck Dynasty Sugar Cookies - am I missing something or have they taken their brand just a little too far.
Keli continues to fill her last minute Christmas orders from her jewellery/bead product line from customers all around the world. She sells spider ornaments, lanyards, earrings and other one-of-a-kind assorted jewellery. If you would like to visit her Etsy website - jump onto www.etsy.com/shop/llanywynns.
After lunch and my little afternoon siesta (I'm sure it was the green chili habenaros hot sauce that took me down) we went for a walk to the dry creek that runs across Keli's property near the house. This is a great spot for the kids to play - loaded with tons of rocks in the riverbed and covered in fossils of many years gone by. They have 86.5 acres, mainly wooded that is southeast of Murfreesboro. It's really kinda nice to have such acreage but then comes the maintenance factor. It takes Joe about 6 - 8 hours to mow the flats on a large tractor at least once a week.
I've attached some photographs of the kids as they played.
