Time to head south. Thought we'd go and find Tana Umanga in Toulouse. Topography, climate and house styles change as you get further south......hotter, hillier and the houses appeared more spacious and spread-out. Etap Hotel was about 20 minutes out of the city centre in Labege. Very small room, but thankfully was airconditioned.

Ventured into city late in the day for a quick look. Much nicer than Paris at first glance. Ended up getting a pizza for dinner - shop owner was very pleasant and wanted to chat (sort of managed a half-conversation) before returning to hotel.
