Day 5/20 Leon - Villavante. Another cold start - 3d. We headed out of the city around 0800 - took over an hour to finally leave Leon. It was a long hard days walking. 34k in all. Day 4/19 - Leon - day off Very chilled day off in Leon. Breakfast then we went to mass. It was in the cathedral chapel so quite low key. Mike went for a massage to ease the pain! Day 3/18 Sahagun - Leon Distance: 55k We made it. Three days on the bike. We really should’ve prepared better but apart from Mike’s sore butt we are great. We got started at 0800. Day 2/17 Boadilla - Sahagun A great sleep, up, out and on our way by 0835. Breakfast in Fromista - 6k in. Great coffee and potato pie. All and all a good 65k biking day. For me a lot better than yesterday. Much flatter smoother paths and a bit of road work with low level climbs and good long decents .
