Last day in Spain - Santiago - Finisterre- Santiago
Today we took a day trip by bus to Finisterre. This is approx 90k and a lot of pilgrims walk this as their official end of the Camino.
The name Fisterra comes from Latin FINIS TERRAE, meaning "Land's End".
The Romans named it thinking it was “the end of the earth”.
It is on the Costa da Morte (Galician: "Coast of Death"), named because of the large number of shipwrecks along these shores.
