Day 21/36 Melide - Arzua
A rainy start today, our first, but it didn’t last long. It was surprisingly quieter than we expected so very pleasant conditions all around.
Walked for a short while with a young boy (probably 15) and his grandmother from the USA. She had walked the Camino two years ago and her grandson was so interested she is doing it with him. Wow - 35 days one on one with your grandmother. They both seemed very chilled out.
Came across Dominic and livia again. They also very chilled. Due into Santiago same day as us and then they will walk onto Finisterre (+90k) on the coast (we will probably take the bus!).
Arrived Arzua around 1330 - had a drink and relaxed till dinner. Delicious - I had paella and Mike more pulpos (octopus).
TWO DAYS TO SANTIAGO!
Breakfast €7
Coffees €3
Drinks €9
Dinner €27
Bed €60
