Hi folks! Hope everyone is well. Firstly congratulations to Stevie and Susie on the birth of baby Findlay - he is gorgeous, thanks for photos. And secondly congrats to Bernie and Andrew on their engagement! Waitng on photos of the rock. Not been up to much lately. Mainly working, some going out and lots of nice meals. Went to watch Aussie rules football a couple of weeks ago, not really my scene to be honest, but at least I can say I have been and tried. The most exciting thing we have done is buy our van! It's a mitsubishi and has everything in it for camping, including a double mattress in the back. I was a bit wary of driving it at first, but am grand with it now. We are heading up the coast in just under two weeks time and we can't wait! It is really cold in Sydney and has rained non stop for almost 4 days. The house we are in is baltic and it doesn't help that most of the windows either don't shut or have massive gaps between window and rotting sills. But it is sunny, sunny, sunny up the coast so can't wiat to head off into the sunset! Fuz has had a couple of surf lessons (well, the second one was only half due to the weather) and he loves it. He is going for another one on Saturday, thern looking to buy a board. I will stick to paddling I think. We went to a BBQ last Sunday. It was at an original Annanites house (Lorna her fella Jambo), but neither of us knew her from there. It was a beautiful day and they made us kangaroo steaks on the barbie, which were lovely - and we didn't even think about Skippy for a minute! I had a call from the drunken chicks on Saturday morning (you know who you are!) and it was great to hear from them. It made me a wee bit homesick, but a night out on Saturday night sorted that right out! Anyway, don't really have much more to tell, so will get away just now. Going to get some good photos of the van and post them (once it stops raining!). Hear form folks soon.
