So yesterday Angela and I headed back to the Pak-Up Hostel after our trip to Koh Phi Phi Island. The return was welcomed. The hostel is a wonderful place to meet people! Every day new stories, experiences and advice is shared! It's great! Today a few of us headed to AoNang beach, and after jumping on a bus we set off. Like a dumb ass though I got the beach wrong and we ended up somewhere about 2km away! Ha! Still we had a long walk and a laugh and were amazed at the sheer volume of tiny sea grabs that were scuttling in and out of the little holes in the wet sand. One species had a tiny body but a comparatively huge right pincer! They were waving it about almost like a dance....possibly in some kind of mating or status dance. Anyway after walking a few km up and back down this beach we settled for a little authentic Thai lunch and a local restaurant. As we were on the coast I went for the Spicy Seafood Salad which was yummy. A few laughs and stories later we gave up on the idea of a beach day and headed back. The prospect of a bottle of Thai rum appealing to our less than sensible sides! Good times ahead! ;)
