Well Gidday One of the highlights after leaving Denham was a visit to Ocean Park Aquarium away out of town by the sea where you get a one hour tour by a marine biologist who was very knowledgeable with a witty sense of humour.
The tour included a shark feed, the largest of the 12 was 140kg and then we went around about another 8 pools with everything from large barramundi to all the other local fish. He went through all the fish that can eat and the ones that can hurt bite and kill you while feeding them which kept everyone fascinated and entertained. Further down the road in Hamelin Pool bay you can walk out on board walks to see the Stromatolite formations which look like a type of coral and that are similar to the earliest form of life in our world and are three thousand million years old! The wild flowers are blooming on the west coast and while I am not a flower person they are really amazing with blazes of colour everywhere. Steph seems to be besotted with them I have had to stop heaps so she can snap a shot of them. The weather is still hot and sunny but the little flies can be annoying especially at freedom camp spots, so sitting outside at night can test your patience and endurance ! Hopefully they won't be a problem when we get to Kalbarri on the coast today.
See ya then xxx
