We are having a rest day today as we went on a day tour of Litchfiels National Park in the fun bus yesterday and it was a very tiring day,we got to see all the waterfalls and swam in a couple of waterholes but there were a lot of people there doing the same thing and it was very crowded.Litchfield was lovely but like everything up here you have to drive for miles before you get to the next tourist site and there is absolutely nothing in between.Unlike home where if you went down the Great ocean road you would have beautiful scenery all the way.
We are starting to get our bearing and beginning to know our way around a bit better now.There is a main shopping complex just 5kms up the road so we are doing most of our shopping there.We are going to catch the local bus into town this week and hav e a look around the city.
The climate up here at this time of year is just perfect not too hot during the day and not too cold at night.The week has flown and we havn't done much but that is what holidays are all about I guess.
