We are now in Coober Pedy and what a strange place it is there are a few houses above ground but there are also many houses built underground.We went into one of the houses and it was really cool down there but you wouldn't want to be claustrophobic. We arrived in Port augusta yesterday after travelling 400 kms so we decided to stay for a day and get supplies that will last us a few days or at least until we get to Alice Springs. The caravan park here is like a giant sardine tin,the vans all start arriving from about 2.00pm until 6.00pm and it goes from empty to full in that time.They park you vertically which is really strange as you barely have room to put your awning out.It is ok for a day or two but I...
