Weidis Pizza?Prawns?Pork? Not exactly bagiarn priced tucker.Perhaps a lesson in good old home economics would have enabled these bogans to have adequate funds to properly feed the children. But then again, you are probably right in saying that the beer/wine funds would then have to be curtailed.

re: CairnsRudi Interesting stuff. The question that I alywas ask is how did people buy into another bubble (housing)so shortly after the bursting of the tech bubble. It usually takes longer for people to forget. It doesn't take a genius to realize that housing values shouldn't increase by 25 percent a year during what was at best an average postwar economic expansion
re: Rollingstone BeachAlfonsina Stephen - Hi TeamWe are praying for you with Voice in the City team and New Creation mnisitries team at a prayer meeting people who had been to meet Ps Glen and team on Elijah ride and others (19 one from Germany VIC and 18 from Blacktown who have ministered with Suzette in West Papua (Irian Jara- Indonesia and will be in Orange for Orange cIty Alive from 11/11/11 ) We prayed for Suzette and Ps Glen and team for strength protection so they can stay on track as break thru is coming to OZ and islands of sea down under. We believe the prayers of the saints are rising to join in Spirit (and some will be able also to join at Uluru- I plan to be in the air over Uluru on 29th May with my wife Cheryl praying in the second heaven (the atmosphere around 30000ft above sea level. It is such a time as this that deliverance can come to our nations of south land of Holy Spirit with Australia being a part.We pray that we all stay on track in prayer support to this great Mission ( as Esther did many years ago).We also blew the Shofar this morning in a prayer meeting in an upper room this morning on an eastern gate. We see the army of God about to be released Angels and the Body of Christ in this nation) .Go for it Bros
re: Uluru, Northern TerritoryYanne Dave, I'm excited for all of you sulohd be great fun! It's redundant to say quick drive for any automobilistic activity in Italy. And honestly, you don't need 3 trousers on this trip. While in Rome, I expect you'll visit the Vatican, smallest country in the world, and, inch for square inch, the most powerful. After soaking in all the opulence there, maybe you can help me understand how they reconcile their vast holdings with Jesus' advice to the rich man ( give all you own to the poor and follow me ). Happy Travels!

re: Finally in the tropicsMaki made me kinda sad; that you claim that Low carb caused your ainmea. I have to comment on that because that statement might confuse others and has a bit of misinformation/confusion. I don't know exactly what your doctor told you about it, but a low carb diet that included iron rich red meats and vegetables( not just low fat chicken and fish which are not high in iron) would not cause ainmea. There may have been some issue of hereditary ainmea, or your body, for some reason unrelated to diet, was unable to absorb iron normally, or maybe you weren't getting enough Vitamin C or some other mineral, to process the iron in your diet. Maybe you were still menstruating and tend to lose a lot more iron than normal or maybe you weren't eating enough iron rich foods like red meats, organ meats like liver, and dark leafy greens like spinach, beets and kale. Many people will eschew red meats because of the fat-fear and don't eat their iron from other plant sources and besides that animal heme-iron is much more easily absorbed in the intestines than plant non-heme-iron. So low carb diets are NOT a poor source of dietary iron as was claimed and as such are not likely the CAUSE of a person's ainmea. I don't disagree that a balanced diet is a good thing but enriched bread is not the cure for ainmea, it is the extra Iron ( and maybe vitamin C) added to that grain food product that helped. Iron supplementation doesn't have to be via high glycemic carbohydrates. Low carb lifestyles can include healthy low glycemic grains like quinoa, barly and bulger, and vitamin C rich Low GI foods like berries, tree fruits and citrus. Low carb Lifestyles don't have to be imbalanced. It's how we choose our foods and plan our menus that balances or unbalances any diet(and I mean diet as in the foods we regularly choose to eat every day )I have Leanne's saving dinner Low Carb Book that was written with you in mind and I tell people about it all the time because it is a good example of a balanced low carb menu that everyone can enjoy. It is not imbalanced just because it is lower carb than SAD (Standard American Diet) There are many reasons why a person may become anemic, but it is unlikely that a red meat rich, dark vegetable dense diet is the cause. Other than that, I listened to the other things you have to say and it was very nice and helpful. YOU have helped me and lots of other people and I really appreciate you being out there for us. The advice you have about confort food and living in the past are very inspiring. I am dealing with my own issues of house clutter and mental clutter, physical body clutter is not as much an issue, (I've been following a lower carbohydrate lifestyle and have avoided the weight gain that I see in other family members my age) but I struggle with mental body clutter in still thinking that my body and my lifestyle is still not good enough and feeling rejected by my family because my personality and lifestyle is so different from theirs. Your voice is the one that encourages me, even when others make fun of that flylady stuff . Your podcasts are what helps me get through the hard-to-start blocks and get to working on my home and loving myself more. You are helping me to be my own person, and to care more about my happiness and the happiness of the people who love me than what other disapproving people might think. so Thank you for all you do![]
re: Marla, South AustraliaTania we do have similar thgothus by and large. I have bookmarked your web site and will visit again in the near future to see what you're writing about in 2012!
re: Back in ParadiseJesus Parrot / University of Colorado at BoulderSturm College of Law at the University of DenverBut neither of these are good law sclhoos. Why? Because neither are considered a T14 law school (i.e. Top 14 law: Harvard, Yale, Stanford ). My advice, if you are considering attending any law school other than a T14, please reconsider. With the legal market being so terrible these days, its Yale or Fail. Don't waste your money.
re: Berry Springs, Northern TerritoryMylene “Of course we shluod be considering it [nuclear power]… but we shluod also be considering geothermal”. The way O'Kane frames this comment is a perfect illustration of the way the question of nuclear power is framed in general, that is, with the implicit assumption that a proposition which includes nuclear power must somehow automatically mean that renewables will be excluded. Why do answers on nuclear power always have to be qualified with warnings' that renewables must also be pursued? I wonder, is this because (in Australia) pro-nuclear sectors of the community have traditionally been right wing and the right is thought to reject renewables (and all that renewables have traditionally stood for on the left); or is it because they fear nuclear power's efficacy will render the pursuit of the various renewable alternatives' unnecessary? Perhaps it's a little of both. Historically speaking, there is some truth to the first of these concerns, but we must somehow make it clear that, like nuclear power, renewables are just tools and that in both cases their adoption as representatives for this or that political ideal is mere symbolism. Neither tool can deliver us the kind of societies we want if your, or my, idealised future does not marry with the desired future society of the majority. For example, if renewables are being built and deployed by the likes of Rio Tinto, AREVA and BP with the intention of supplying the needs of modern western societies whose populations number in the billions, then they are not going to deliver us a decentralised, small scale, low population, friendly, inclusive world of eco-villages. On the other hand if everyone does want a low population, small scale, low environmental impact society then small modular reactors would be a useful adjunct to the change. As to the second concern I don't know that a grid which is supplied by 100% nuclear power would actually be ideal. I believe load following is made much easier if one has at least one other generator type which can quickly respond to changes in demand. As such, I imagine geothermal would be the the perfect compliment to nuclear power in the SA grid and the two most certainly would not be mutually exclusive.
re: Lovely Hot Baths !!!!!Vigail very nice. i remember senieg an interview of you guys and you mentioned husker du. it must feel great to work with someone you respect and admire.
re: Rollingstone BeachGabriel Finally watched the video. Good work. I have seen a few of your inirevtews and I liked this one because you both were in the same location. As far as the multiple sites thing, I think it is difficult as well because there are only so many things you can focus on and it spreads out your passion.I have so many ideas for great sites, but it is hard to focus. But if you have the time, the help and the passion, two sites is better than one.- MPM

Kim I hate when I do silly things like that when I'm in a hurry. You shloud have seen what happened to one pan of my zucchini cupcakes yesterday. As I was putting them in the oven, I didn't quite put the pan on the rack, and they all dumped out onto the open oven door! Good thing there was a lot more batter!I love the big apple chunks in these! Thanks for posting pictures!
