I can't believe Lesley has been here for 10 days already. We have been enjoying ourselves immensely. Eric managed to get an extra week off and has been home too. We have been relaxing a lot mixed in with a little bit of shopping and tons of laughter. We have managed to squeeze in a little hiking and swimming as well. After weeks of anticipation, Lesley has finally arrived safely in Colorado. She was a little late but we still made it home in time for dinner and a glass of wine. We are all exhausted and turning in early. I will not be blogging every day she is here but will be posting about the fun things we do.

We woke up early this morning thanks to the annoying yapper in the room below. We were anxious to get home anyway. It was a wonderful trip. Thank you Eric for spoiling me and for planning such an awesome Birthday. I love you.

I have lived in Colorado for 20 years and have never hiked the infamous Hanging Lake trail. Eric and I decided since we were out this way and we should go hike it. Hanging lake is just on the East side of Glenwood Springs about an hour from Grand Junction. This turned out to be even better then I imagined. It is a 1.2 mile hike pretty much straight up the side of a cliff/mountain. It took us nearly an hour to reach the top. All I can say is WOW!! I hope the pic...
