October 4 The adventure ends! After checking out of the hotel, we went out to Cheri and Danny’s and spent the morning with them. September 28, 29 Said good-bye to Traverse City after a terrific month. The locals say it’s the best September there in many years. We were lucky. Began the drive south under clear and sunny skies. September 26 Played golf even though it was very overcast. Turns out it was at a nearby course designed by Arnold Palmer.
