September 20 Following a morning run, we met and had breakfast at the Horizon Book store. This place gained national attention two years ago in a situation involving the Harper Lee novel called “Go Set a Watchman”, discovered and released after the author’s death to major hoopla. September 18 After a delightful 4 day stay with us, the Prices moved on today, heading first to Mackinac Island. It was really a pleasure having them with us. September 16 Today was our wine tasting day! We headed out onto the Old Mission Peninsula and drove north to the tip of the peninsula to the lighthouse.   From there we stopped at the 2 Lads Winery and enjoyed a tasting of five of their wines.    There is an extremely vibrant wine industry in this area. September 13 A fair amount of rain today, so we looked for indoor activities. First, I did a workout at our Fitness Center. Then, after lunch, we visited the Denno Museum on the campus of Northwestern Michigan College, just a mile or so from our condo.
