Last full day in Rome today. Nothing planned. Sleep in as still recovering from our appearance at the colosseum, we are tired gladiators.

After breakfast, we had a lazy morning, walked to Trevi fountain, very crowded. Walked to Renaiscentre & went up to the rooftop bar, Moet Chandon champagne promotion, just the thing for Mariska. Beautiful view of Rome from the rooftop. Lunch downstairs, great pizza.

Back to hotel for compulsory 2 hour siesta. Still tired from the Colosseum.

730pm walk to the Trevi fountain to see what it was like in the evening, more crowded than the day. Hunt for Calvin Klein shop that was still open, Mariska really wants an overnight bag from them. No luck. Closed.

Back to Renaiscentre for dinner on the terrace. Really getting a pasta belly.

Sorrento by train tomorrow. Will try and fit in some early morning last minute shopping in Rome
