Meeting the Doofs today. Arranged to meet outside David's Gelaterria. Rolf had already let Petra know we were coming. Magda and Tante Lennie didn't know and they were very surprised. Spent the afternoon at Petra's house and then dinner in Gouda. Such a nice day. Maike and Kim have grown so much. Rolf and Petra drop us back in Vladingen later in the night

A whole huge market/bazaar dedicated to the middle eastern community. Everything from wedding dresses to food & spices to clothing, cookware plus more. Great Afghan ice cream with pistachio & almond. Gouda tomorrow

Visit Ome Theo gravesite, where all the Christian Brothers are buried. Had lunch at Wink, nearby hotel where he had the wake. Head to Delft, to get Marianne present for her birthday. Rob keeps getting lost trying to get back to Vladingen. Dinner at Marianne & Rob's and meet her family. Chinese food, Dutch style.

Rob & Jolanda celebrate 33 years of marriage. Funeral for tante Jannie in Rotterdam. Head to shopping centre, lunch at Japanese restaurant Shabu Shabu, eat as much as you like, 60 servings between the 4 of us. Struggled with dinner at Palladium Greek restaurant in vladingen with Marianne & Rob. Promised myself not to eat again for a year.
