Arrive in Rome at 4pm, difficult time working out the 20 min walk to the hotel Trevi Collection. Google maps is confusing. Just beat the thunderstorm to the hotel. Hot and sweaty, could not work out how to turn the shower on.

Wander the street and local area, Mariska buys clothes. Stumble on to a small restaurant, small menu, friendly staff, well stocked bar and kitchen on show. Best beef carpaccio with shavings of truffle, pasta amatriciana, meatballs and tiramisu. Have to come back again - Hosterie 87.
