Firstly Megan and I want to say a huge thank you to Erik, Davin and Maya, who looked after us like we were the poor people that we are!

We had a wicked time in Denver, we stayed with Daves mate Erik just outside of downtown, which had spectacular views of the city at night. On our arrival we were taken out for drinks by Erik, Maya and Eriks girlfriend Sarah and then for Sushi. Both of us, not being big Sushi fans were extremely suprised when the food was fantastic... Dave even commented that it may have converted him for good. The place is called Sushi Hai if anyone is ever in the Denver area. Our quiet night after our 9 hour drive from Moab soon turned into a big night! We met up with 2 more of Daves old friends called Davin and Natalie and ended up at a Kareoke bar - where Davin (who should be on American Idol) showed everyone up...

Day 2 came around quickly and we all woke up a little worse for wear, dreading that tonight was the party night and Halloween itself! Had a great day, chilling out watching movies, playing with Harley the dog, and visiting Boulder - a town right next to the Rockies with magnificent views. The night soon came around and it was into costume and off to a house party where the hosts had gone all out to deck the house up in a Halloween style. There was a keg, food and all sorts of games - like bobbing for shots! ughhh! Anyhow Maya had out partied herself here and crashed out claiming she was going to die, at about 10pm, while the rest of us chatted and chilled until the early hours.

Day 3 consisted of chilling at Davins where we watched a scarey Halloween movie in his private cinema (how jealous were we?) and eating some steaks. Dave confessed to having the meat sweats afterwards...

All in all our trip was superb because we got to see some of Daves old friends, eat some great food and really chill out after our huge trip through Central America. Its off to vegas tomorrow at 6am - we are hoping that Vale pass in the Rockies is not too full with snow (praying now!)
