We stayed in Moab overnight at a motel with the greatest bed ever! Dave was so tired and Megan actually had her first experience of driving in America. So the sleep was well deserved and the bed was nothing short of amazing.
We stayed here so we could visit the Arches National Park, somewhere Dave went about 10 years ago and doesn't remember much so we decided to revisit it. This was a well worth stop, we have some sensational pictures. The park itself is in the south of Utah, and contains over 2000 naturally formed arches. The best and most renowned is called Delicate Arch and it stands alone in a bowl high up in one of the mountains - and hour and a half hike. It was stunning. We also viewed the windows to the north and south and hiked under 2 other arhes.
This is such an underpublicised place - it easily rivals places like the Grand Canyon and Yosemite - the views are spectacular.
We finished up at the park around midday and drove to Denver through the rockies that are filling with snow very quickly.
