After two weeks of meeting up with many many old friends, joining in the Morris reunion, buying a 4WD and camper trailer, going to an Aussie rules game, viewing a beach art exhibition, some rounds of golf etc, we managed to try the car out by going down to Albany to visit some more old friends, John & Barbara, Jan & Ken, plus Angie's cousin, Sheila and family, Carol & John. It was many degrees cooler than Perth making us use some thicker clothes we hadn't anticipated, and it even rained! Sampled the delights of the sailing club restaurant plus walking in the local bush. Didn't see any whales..Albany was once a whaling town.

Got back to Perth and realised we'd missed seeing Dennis Wellington , who is now the mayor of Albany, who was at our wedding in the UK all those years ago.

The vehicle performed well though there are some slight niggling doubts and we need to get a new key sorted.
