A 45 min helicopter ride in an open sided helicopter over the Purnululu NP is stunning. Windy, noisy but exhilarating and what a view. One of the best things we've done to date. A reasonably easy drive day with a lunch stop at Halls Creek, an old gold rush town with not much going for it, but it has a decent visitor centre.
