A 45 min helicopter ride in an open sided helicopter over the Purnululu NP is stunning. Windy, noisy but exhilarating and what a view. One of the best things we've done to date. The photo above was nearly 40 years ago when we met and lived in Perth Australia. As an eccentric Brit, I was part of the mad bunch that started the Perth Morrismen and we're heading for the 40th anniversary reunion!! At that time, we also travelled across the Nullabor along the south coast. This time we're going round the top and taking our time.
