Today was kick back day. Especially when we found Barck Obama was coming to town and taking over Disney !! Half of Magic Kingdom was closed off for his visit so our figuring was (once we realized he had not come to welcome the Smiths from Australia to the USA ) everyone would head for Universal to get away from the whole Obama thing so we stayed away. Turns out that it was a gorgeous day and we hung by the pool after breakfast at Zimmies, the restaurant. After a couple of hours of pool hanging we came back to the unit and readied ourselves for outlet shopping. This time we tried Buena Vista Outlets and , much smaller but also much quieter. A bite of lunch in their food court - again a loosely used term here at times!
Kate and I headed out to take on the shops finding success in Dress Barn with a nice frock for me for a wedding coming up. Katie and I found som running shorts in Under Armour for $20.00 total. Visits to every shop ended with the purchase of a pair of Levi's for Kate as she discovers jeans are comfy and not as bad as she thought!!! Adrian seemed to score the best with a few bits of clothing at Nike, a new ski jacket and another fleecy. I think his fetish is now ski jackets!!!
Back to the pool for another hour or two, some cocktails and a chat wit an English woman who has lived here for long time!
Dinner tonight was at the Resort as we ventured o the Magic and Mayhem Dinner Show. A buffet meal and two guys doing comedy and magic made or a fun night. A game of Up and Down the river and now I find myself the only one still up blogging away.
Forgot to mention we ventured into Walmart also to purchase scales to wear the suitcases so we are not overweight. $7.95 including tax for scales - bargain!!!
