It's 7.21 pm Thursday night and I'm beside the pool in 3/4 pants and a jumper while the kids swim!! As only kids could in the cold!!
Let me start today off with some trivia we have discovered that is , I think, unique to the Disney adventures. As you know people come from all over the world to vist but it seems to be mainly the Americans who have taken the group dressing to an all time great idea. Magic Kingdom , as you know, was incredibly busy so a great way of not losing your family is same tshirts. Some all buy the name Disney shirt first day or come all wearing the colour and brand of shirt. Lots of others create shirts for the occasion . Some good ones we have seen are : bright red shirts with white writing, TOM, TOM'S BROTHER,TOM'S OTHER BROTHER, Tom'S GRANNY, etc. another lots were also bright red with white filled in circle on front with "Drunk 1" or "Drunk 2" , Drunk 3, Drunk 3 .... So the kids thought we should get Lea, Lea's husband, Lea's son, Lea's sisters daughters cousin ( Kate likes being different). Only in America ...
Today we started with Animal Kingdom and I started with a headache left over from yesterday which never bides well for me. First off to Dinoland where we went on an adventure through a dinosaur park before a cute roller coaster that had all the right options for the kids- speed, jolting, spinning, dips etc. From dinosaur territory we ventured into Asia where we twice undertook an Everest Expedition - await the photo that my darling husband purchased at 8 x 10 size cos of my face!! Kate said pull a face so I did!!! Hmph! A rafting expedition followed where we were not the wettest but by no means did I leave dry!!!

From Asia we journeyed into Africa where we undertook a safari through Harambe Game Reserve. At e end if this our Jack spent money!!!! This is worth noting because he left home with nearly $1200 and 4 weeks later has over $1000 left!! He now proudly supports the henna tattoo depicting "strength". From Africa we headed to lunch and then decided to become Park Hoppers and head to Hollywood Studios. A trip through a couple of gift stores saw Adrian go from everyday guy into Major huge Disney tourist in his red Disney shirt and new Disney cap. Photo following!!! Classic as he was paranoid that we would look like tourists and therefore make us unsafe. If we looked like everyone else then no-one would know we were tourists. The Aussie accent would never give it away. Just a guess but I think that Adrian has overcome this fear now!!!
So off to Hollywood studios we went - party hoppers woohoo!!! While we were there we got ourselves a session of American Idol where you can audition in the park and make a finale show and win a front of the line pass for any American Idol live show! Apparently the current American Idol began his time winning at DW!!
We also went on a Star Wars ride and the rest of them went on the Hollywood Tower ride ( my head not improving at this point) . The end result Adrian is never going on it again so it is the kids and I tomorrow. A quick trip through the gift shop on our way out. Home cooked meal tonight with Mum cooking Burritos. Curry tomorrow night as I have to pack to move to our next new home!!!
Tomorrow takes us back to Hollywood studios for the rest of the rides before we take a break from the Parks for the weekend.
