Today we headed back to Universal Studios to check out the Universal Studios side of the Park. It was to be a lovely hot day with showers coming later. Our goal was to hit the big ride of the park first before the crowds came in but alas and alack! It was closed hoping to be opened later in the day. Sad face:(
Our next ride was the Mummy ride and unexpectedly it was a great ride - no scare factor but I think we are beyond fear now! Thoroughly enjoyable!
From here we went on a walking Twister ride basd on the movie and it was also very good! Bit of the unexpected happening! Men in Black ride was fun cos we were in a ride shooting at aliens. Boys slayed them and Kate and I had no clue....what else is new??!!!
Kids went on the Simpson ride and we went for a wander. Ran into a young boy wearing a Broncos jersey so obviously had to stop and chat!! They were from Noosa and arrived just after us in NY but stayed 11 nights before heading to Washington and then down to Orlando where they did DisneyWorld for a week . After that thy picked up an RVv and went down to Miami and checked it out before heading back to Orlando for a Universal Studio fix before heading home tomorrow so they can be back in time for school to start on Monday. It was so funny cos we were the first Aussies they had run into which I found amazing as we ran into at least one family or couple in every place we visited .....
Had some lunch and then attacked some more rides including Terminator 2 which was a mixture of live and animation and very good ..... 3d glasses seats moving floor dropping ... 'twas all happening. Came out in time to catch a magic show which was entertaining. Emerging from this we found that the rain had come so we headed to the merchandising shops grabbed a few pressies and headed home - theme parks not fun in the rain. Looks likes we'll maybe head back Saturday to try the ride we missed as it looks like the ride of all rides at the two parks!

Ate at Santa Fe again tonight - steaks all round and tonight I had the veges as one of my sides and they were divine!! I will be having the steak and a double of the veges for my sides next visit! And there will be one!!!
