Today we had breakfast at The Spring Hill Suites before heading off on our final leg of a long trip. Lessons learnt from this for next time are - make sure you are working in kilometres not miles cos it adds half again time wise to your planning. Also add at least an extra day for each driving day. The idea was to drive to somewhere and then spend the rest of the day exploring. Other than our trip out to Tybee Island we really didn't get to see anything of the places we stayed. Had we done that we would have been able to have seen so much more of the southern states.
