FRIDAY 5th JUNEHad a nice sleep in this morning before we bought an "Oyster Card" to use on the London Metro, and then Mumsie and I headed to Westminster Abbey for her to finally get a tour of the Cathedral! She missed out in 2012, but this time the queue for tickets was only a dozen or so and I left her alone to enjoy her dream! TUESDAY 2nd JUNEWell, for once the forecasters got it totally right and we awoke to howling winds, rain and 10 degrees! It got no better all day and our drive along the coast turned sour! We paused in Hastings for lunch, with the wind so strong it was blowing foam off the ocean right up into the town! With our tour over, this morning once again we have a long wait for a flight to move on to our next destination - London. A four fifteen call from Jase announced that we have a new Grand Daughter - Layla Rose Allan was delivered with no problems and we even got to talk to Katie! TUESDAY 5th JUNE 2012RETURNING THE CARGot an early start this morning, both Den and I a little nervous of what the traffic maybe like in London on the last day of the four day holiday!We were on the road a little after 9am and hit the M4 motorway, covering the sixty odd miles into London very quickly and by 10.15am, with absolutely no traffic problems, we were at the Hertz depot in Marble Arch!
