Went looking around the area and found so much flood damage that wasn't reported on the news. The destruction is enormous. There is a woman in this town that was swept away from her house by the flood waters during the night. She woke up to water in the bedroom about a foot deep. Pat and I went touring the area around Wuruma Dam. We just missed the friends that were staying there for a few days. The dam is full at the moment due to the floods earlier this year. Great camping and kayaking areas around the dam. The locals spend a lot of time here. We hope to put the kayaks into the water soon. No croc's here to watch for.

We went over to Gladstone today, I went directly to see the hairdressers (been about 3 months and what a mess) and Pat went to Eidsvold to sort out the house and job.
