Landed in Singapore and have been transfered to the Hotel Jen Singapore. The service here is awesome. Both Pat and I are still not well, still ave the flu. All packed for our trip to Great Brittan to see our daughter, but Murphy's law has struck and both Pat and I have gone down with a particulary nasty dose of flu. Still going on the bus and train today. We were suppose to meet up with family but it was called off because we didn't want to share the flu with them. Stayed at the Hotel Jen in Roma Street right beside the train station and barely heard the trains at all.

Pat flew into Darwin on the 12th for christmas. He will be staying untill we pack the van up and head back to Miriam Vale on the 17th January. Pat has had to go home in november due to unforseen events. He is driving home in my mazda. Just outside Alpha Qld he broke the car, litrally melted the aircon compresser seals. Pat and I have been trying different eating areas around town. From breakfast at the cafe in the marina in Cullen Bay to yummy noodles in Palmeston. We have had some great food and some pretty pedestrian mealstoo. Such a wide variety of foods. Absolutly love the sticky rice from the Parap markets. I have a job now working for a Fire Protection Company. They maintain & install fire systems. They are a great bunch of people who have come from the other states...
