Pat recieved a call out tonight as there is a storm out there. Just as he left it hit hard. The noise was so loud between the rain and the hail I couldn't hear the phone ring. The caravan has developed a few problems with the trim coming loose on the van walls. Found out there was damage to the wooden frame.... Took the van to Takalvan Caravans in Bundaberg. They did an absolutely marvelous job on the repair. We highly recommend them. Now to repack the gear into the van but only after sorting out some stuff to be left at the house. Well here I am taking a little vacation in a very expensive resort (not) . I have somehow picked up an infection in my leg and have been hospitalized in Bundaberg Friendlies Hospital. They are watching it closely and hitting me with intravenous antibiotics. As I am a diabetic it seems they will monitor it closely. 10 days in hospital can drive a person crazy. Pat and I went over to Miriam Vale and picked up the bikes. It is a great ride up through Mount Perry coming back to Eidsvold. It's great to have an open licence so that I don't have to have those stupid L plates and a trainer riding with you. We hope to take a ride down to Blackbutt soon as we have promised family that we will come and visit.
