We went over to Gladstone today, I went directly to see the hairdressers (been about 3 months and what a mess) and Pat went to Eidsvold to sort out the house and job. We stayed at Matt & Khara's and I caught up with friends Kelly & Rejoice. It was great to talk to them again. I went down to check the house at Miriam Vale on Friday and talk to the agent. On the way back to Biloela I dropped into see Kathy & Harry as a surprise.

We left Biloela for Eidsvold today, a trip of about 170 kilometres. The house is old but in reasonable condition and quite large - 3 bedrooms and a big yard. It's about half way up the hill between the main highway and the council depot. Easy walk to the shops and Pat's work.

The van is parked out the back and I have been transferring gear into the house. The house comes furnished so that's great but a cold snap is here. Brrrrrrrr my feet are freezing and I can't find my slippers so shoes and socks are the go. Just as well I bought plenty of cool weather clothes as well as hot weather ones. The cold is here until the weekend so the TV tells me, the locals say it's been expected. Eidsvold is a nice little place I discovered as I took a walk around this morning to try and thaw out.

We went over to Mundubbera on Sunday to have a look around and you can still see some of the flood damage around.
