Cute, quant, charming Pomona. Thanks to our travelling friends Sue, Mick and James, we stopped here for a catch up with this beautiful family and thoroughly enjoyed what Pomona had to offer. A small country town filled with loads of charisma. Fabulous antique shopping, great markets with tonnes of fresh organic produce. This place has a very recycled approached to life which I loved. For a small town there was a lot to do. We enjoyed a evening under the stars at Pamona in the park where the local school put on a spectacular end of year concert.
We spent a day at Borren point a beautiful shallow lake surrounded by tiny little beaches. The girls enjoyed paddle boarding with James and making cubbies!
Noosa for a day trip from here was easy only 20 minutes so we went for the day. First we hit the hit beach enjoyed the waves before working up a appetite for a well deserved yummy burger at Betty's Burgers! The shopping strip for all you shoppers is a delight. The view of Noosa from the national park lookout is fantastic. We watched many kite surfers from up here too!
As a thank you for having us we took our adopted family out for tea to the local Italian where we ate delicious pizza on the sidewalk underneath some brilliant art pieces. The atmosphere is fun and friendly.
