Milan, Italy. 7th September 2011.
Buongiorno, our morning began with our last breakfast with the Netty, Dawn and Catrina, before bidding them goodbye. Peter and I make our way to catch taxi to then take the train to Milan.
Peter and I purchased our tickets and caught the first train to Empoli, changed to a second train to change again in Florence. On arrival to Milan we walked out with all our luggage and got to a bar where we lunched.
We return to the train station and were unable to store our suitcases as the maximum was 20kg per bag and mine was 25kg. Let alone we were still carrying around the 7kg Caltagirone
that was gifted to us by my Zia Carmen. So the only choice we had was to wait for Orazio to pick us up.
Orazio picked us up at 7.30pm and returned us to his home where we met Emanuelle and Mondo their dog.
We enjoyed a meal with the boys before taking Mondo for an evening walk.
