Betty and crew has settled onto a campsite on the bank of the Loire, it hit 33deg today so shade and fluids was needed.
We had a peaceful night in the end last night and we were joined by three other vans which made both of us feel better. We just had fruit and tea for breakfast this morning as it was 23 deg by 0900hrs so cooking bacon was out. We emptied and filled as appropriate and headed off.
It was only an hour to get here so we were booked in by 1130he’s, sat in the sun by 12. We found the washing machines in the supermarket car park across the road, so we had a load to do, 30 mins later we were walking back with clean skiddies and shopping. By 3pm it hit 33 and we were wilting so we drank our supplies and hid in the van. Sat now watching the river flow past, with a glass of something.
