Betty is tucked in to her berth in the storage yard safe and sound after an uneventful journey home. We left the aire at Wissant this morning after emptying the tanks etc no water needed today as we had enough to see us home. We arrived at the ferry but no luck for an earlier crossing so 1045hrs we left the berth. Betty and crew are parked up on our last stop on French soil, at the aire at Wissant. We had our dose of retail therapy at the Citi Europe shops, not too bad in the end, a quick lunch and we moved here to Wissant. Its been a long day today for all Betty’s crew, we finally parked her wheels at Citi Europe at 2000hrs. The day started well with an early breakfast and all the filling and emptying done by 0930, our 24hrs were up at 1030hrs so we had something to aim for, €12 later and we we’re away. Betty and crew are parked up in the aire at Neufchâtel-en-Bray. This is a very nice and well thought out aire, with a nice pitch all facilities plus washing/ dryer. The new little toilet block is a good addition and once the shower cubicle is finished it’ll be 5 star. It was just a 40 min journey across to here from our last stop.
