A busy day today. We got up this morning to go river surfing. This is kind of like rafting except you have a little body board boon stead of a boat. As the girls were allowed to sign up for this I was expecting little class I rapids but no these were class III. If you are in a river looking at a class 3 rapid called the man eater believe me it looks big - look at the picture of the river instead of the girls decked out in double wet suits if you don't believe me...

The girls spent the morning catching up with their journals and doing some souvenir shopping (while the weather was lovely). A lot of fun running through the huge maze at puzzle world for nearly and hour. There was a really cool room where water 'flowed uphill' and a swing hung at an angle. A short drive over the mountains to Queenstown our stop for the next few days. Queenstown is a huge center for extreme sports- bungy jumping, rafting etc. We decided to try several but the weather is looking iffy so we will have to see if we can do them.
