Hi Everyone! So we have reached our final destination in New Zealand...Christchurch. It's fair to say that its not the most interesting of places, in fact many Kiwi's describe it as the boring city. There isn't a whole load to do or see here - there's a cathedral and some gardens and thats about it. Our bus driver told us that a day here was plenty of time....unfortunately we will be here a grand total of 5 days by the time we fly out! excellent forward planning by us there! We've managed to entertain ourselves by doing a little light shopping, going to the cinema to see Confetti (which is brilliant by the way, everyone should see it!) and eating out. It's fair to say that we are ready to move on. We are flying out to Sydney on Thursday 27th July, so this will probably be the last entry for New Zealand. Well what can I say about New Zealand....it really is as beautiful as people say it is. Definately worth a visit. However, don't expect much from the towns and cities because there really isnt much too them, especially if you are used to cities like London. It's definately about the stunning scenery and adventure sports over here! If you were only here for a short period of time and therefore could only do and see a few things I would suggest the following: 1. definately do a sky dive - you get the most amazing buzz from it and the views are excellent! 2. Franz Josef Glacier - Its like something out of Narnia! Hiking on the ice is so much fun! 3. Eat at the Gondola restaurant in Queenstown - the views over the city at night are great and the food is soooo good! 4. Milford Sound - the boat trip around the sound lets you see the sound in all its glory. Anyway, toodles until Oz!
