We had a lovely time with Andy & Jill it was great to finally introduce Pat to them: lol: Jill took us in to Maidenhead Train station where we caught a train to Reading so we could catch a train to Penzance, guess what it was raining again this morning, surprise surprise, they haven't had much of a summer, I think it's hotter back home in Adelaide. After a five hour train journey we arrived safe and well in Penzance, walked across the road to get our hire car, we have a very nice automatic Vauxhall (leather seats)then the fun began, trying to find our hotel or guest house without a map was no joke, and trying to find a park is an even bigger joke, have to park it in one of the side streets, (hope it's still there in the morning): well after driving around in circles we finally found it, we had driven past it about 5 times. It's a bit of a dive after what we have been used to but it's clean, and it has free wifi. We went to a local pub for tea, had home made meat and onion pie, green peas and ofcourse chips, it was very nice, but we couldn't eat it all, and it only cost us 9.95pounds for the two of us. After breakfast tomorrow we are off to Port Issac's (Port Whenn) for Doc Martin fans, then we wil call intoSaint Michaels Mount/St. Ives and take a look at Lands endso until tomorrow. you alkl take care.
