Judy & Pete took us to North Wales, which is about 1 hour and 1/2 from Walsall, we went first to Llangollen, was so beautiful, we went up the mountain to 'Horse Shoe Pass', lovely views from there and loads of sheep, then we went to a town called Betws y Coed, we had lunch at a cafe there, then went for a walk around the town, another beautiful village. Then we had some fun trying to find Bala Lake, we eventually found it, by that time it was raining, (surprise surprise) and blowing a gale, called into a cafe for a cuppa tea for Pete & Judy, coffee for Pat and I. Then it was time to turn fir home. Because we had a hot lunch, we are having toasted cheese and tomatoe sandwiches. It will be an early night for us tonight as we have to get up at about 4.45a.m. for Pete to drive us to Birmingham International Airport, for us to catch our flight to Ireland, which leaves at 7.55 a.m. but it takes a while to get to the airport so we have to leave that early. I'm not taking my computer to Ireland, so I won't be posting again until Sunday afternoon, that's when we get back from Ireland.
