We awoke to another day of rain: But that didn't stop us going out and about, we caught the hop on hop off bus out the front of our hotel, our first stop was the Botanical Gardens here in Glasgow, it was just as I remembered from when I was here with Mum 26 years ago, we were in the gardens for nearly an hour, would have been better if it hadn't been raining. Our next stop was a market place, very 'brickworks style' and very junky and cheap, didn't stay long here...

Well after a perfect sunny day yesterday, It's pissing down today, it hasn't stopped raining since last night. We did a tour today of Stirling Castle, then we went to Loch Lomond National Park, this would have been great except for the rain. then we went to a whiskey distellery, Glengoyne: Pat had a dram of whiskey on me, as that was included in the ticket. we never got back to Glasgow until 6.30p.m. and it's still raining, hopefully my photos will be ok, going t...

We left Windermere in lovely sunshine, headed for Glasgow. Arrived at Glasgow Central at 2 p.m. in sunshine, found our hotel which is about 2 minutes walk from Glasgow Central, we got our room, very nice, then we hit the city, had to find the information centre as we are doing a tour from there tomorrow, so we booked a ticket for Sunday on the hop on hop off bus (got pensioner rates) : lol: We finished up in a local hotel for a drink, finished up playing some p...
