We left York on Fiday 8th October for Peterborough, we were met in Peterborough by Edna and Tony, friends of Adrians, they took us all over the place we went to Sandringham had a good look around the grounds etc, we had a roast pork with yorkshire pudding for lunch while there, then on Monday they took us into Lincolnshire, we walked to the Cathedral, and then walked thru the town of Lincoln, very lovely place, We left Edna and Tony this morning, we are now back in Ashvale staying Andy & Jill, we are hoping to do a canal tour tomorrow, then we will have to pack for Dubai, Andy is taking us into Heathrow, which is much appreciated by us both. We did our final Brtirail train ride today, I would recommend Brit Rail ticket to anybody that is coming over here for a holiday, it's the only way to travel, and the service was 'first class', we travelled in the first class carriages, just magic.
