we arrivedrrived in Melbourne with no hassles: We got our duty free booze and Pat had trouble with her credit card they kept declining it, so she rang visa and the told there was nothing wrong, but after about 8 hours into the flight she suddenly remembered she was using the wrong pin no. (but she hasn't tried it yet so will keep you posted).I nearly left my passport at border control but no worries I got it back. Oh what a rush to get onto our flight to Dubai, but all sorted, we settled down for the long hall. (15 hour flight). We found our boarding gate after arriving in Dubai arriving at 5 a.m. They bussed us to from the plane to the terminal this airport is HUGE: We bought a coffee each cost 34 Dirmer which turned out to be $AUD8.80: Now for our next leg to Paris we boarded our plane which was an A380, oh boy was that BIG Arrived in Paris about 3/4 hour late so after flying for nearly 23 hours we arrived in Paris. The first thing we did after arriving at the hotel was to have a shower. We had meet and greet with fellow passengers that night, (free drinks no meal) we were both in bed by 8 p.m. but we are all fully recovered now.

Today (20th August) we did a bus tour of Paris compliments to Senic Tours, and tonight we went to the Eifell tower for tea, a magic night, but you should see the crowd, tourists every where hopefully I will down load some photos (got lots: lol)

Today Sunday 21 August 2011: We are doing our own thing today, so we are doing a river cruise and a hop on hop off bus today, as Paris shops are closed on Sundays.

I think Pat is coming down with my cold, (I'm still coughing)

Don't know when I'll get on again, as the wifi service is free from this hotel> The Scribe very nice hotel. So until next time
