We awoke to another day of rain: But that didn't stop us going out and about, we caught the hop on hop off bus out the front of our hotel, our first stop was the Botanical Gardens here in Glasgow, it was just as I remembered from when I was here with Mum 26 years ago, we were in the gardens for nearly an hour, would have been better if it hadn't been raining. Our next stop was a market place, very 'brickworks style' and very junky and cheap, didn't stay long here, we walked back to catch the bus and found a nice Cafe, so called in for lunch 'Scottish Pie' chips, and beef gravy, we then headed of to St Enoch Place, it's a big shopping mall here in Glasgow, Pat bought another handbag, (3) now. lol, I bought 2 pair of nice leather sandals for 20 pounds (for the two pairs) and a nice top. We then decided to walk back to our hotel, it was only around the corner, and on the way Pat bought a new suit case, (one with wheels) for 20 pound (bright pink) so now it was time to get back to the hotel and pack ready to catch the train to Edinburgh tomorrow.
