I drove a little way out from Penzance to a quaint little village called Mousehole, very much like St. Ives but on a smaller scale, we wondered the streets, I took some photos, then we got back in the car and travelled a bit further up the road to St. Michaels Mount, we walked across the causeway, then up 100's of stairs to get to the top of the castle, lovely views from there, then we had lunch at there cafe, we ordered a 'Cornish Pasty', nothing like ours: lol: but very nice. and oh boy are my knees feeling it, I think we walked at least 5 k's or more. Drove back to Penzance and filled our car up with petrol, cost us 32 pound for petrol, then we took our hire car back, it was easier this way than trying to find a car park out in the streets for it. now we are going to have afternoon tea of scones, jam and clotted cream. We leave in the morning for Birmingham don't know when I will get back onto my computer, all depends if the people we are staying with have wifi or not. so until next time cheers.
